Abstract

The research methodology used is descriptive quantitative method. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data, namely data obtained in the form of numbers or numbers. Source of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents, secondary data was obtained from data and literature relating to the issues discussed. The research population that will be used in this research is all resellersin 2022 as many as 111 resellers. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling technique, which means that all members of the population are used as samples. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis method.

The results of the research analysis show that Creativity has a tcount (3.615) > ttable (1.982) with a significance level of 0.000 <0.005 so it can be concluded that there is a partially significant positive effect between Creativity on Business Success Selling Gudie Perfume in Medan City. The results of the analysis show that the Motivation has a value of tcount (4.941) > ttable (1.982) with a significance level of 0.000 <0.005 so it can be concluded that there is a partially significant positive effect between Motivation on Business Success Selling Gudie Perfume in Medan City. The results of this study are supported by the value of R Square (R2) or the coefficient of determination obtained at 0.515, meaning that the variable Business Success can be explained by the Creativity and Motivation variables of 51.5% while the remaining 48.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research, such as price, product quality, service quality.
