Abstract

tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah penjualan yang harus dicapai untuk memperoleh tingkat keuntungan optimal dan mengetahui penjualan di 18 depot air minum di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan hingga mencapai break even point dan margin of safety. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Studi Kasus. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 18 depot air minum isi ulang di kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk memperoleh tingkat keuntungan yang optimal masing-masing depot air minum isi ulang harus mencapai penjualan sebanyak 2.204 unit perbulan sehingga mencapai titik break even point yaitu 1.229 unit atau dalam rupiah sebesar Rp. 6.492.832. dengan margin of safety sebesar 56%.
