Performance Appraisal sebagai Alat Pengukuran Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model pengukuran kepuasan kerja karyawan berdasarkan performance appraisal (penilaian kinerja) pada perusahaan BUMN khususnya perusahaan penyedia jasa sertifikasi yang ada di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini mengamati dua variabel laten, yaitu performance appraisal sebagai variabel eksogen dan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel endogen. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan survey yang bertujuan memperoleh data kualitatif dan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket dan wawancara. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan tetap dari tiga perusahaan cabang BUMN khusus penyedia jasa sertifikasi yang ada di Kota Medan. Penetapan jumlah
sampel menggunakan sampling kuota, analisis data menggunakan statistik diskriptif dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), pengolahan data menggunakan program Amos 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performance appraisal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan perusahaan BUMN di Kota Medan. Sedangkan masing-masing konstruk pembentuk variabel mampu menjelaskan keberadaanya pada setiap variabel laten.
